La instalación Have you seen this artist? es un thriller expositivo. Isabel Merchante, artista española, muestra evidencias solicitadas a Bogotá con la intención de aclarar el misterio de la desaparición del artista colombiano Diego Sánchez el 1 de diciembre de 2020. En Colombia, el proceso es idéntico: allí el artista bogotano procesa la información recibida desde España para tratar de esclarecer la desaparición de Isabel Merchante el mismo día. La escenografía, de inspiración cinematográfica, es la base de esta obra falso-documental que narra un doble suceso paradójico y que explora los límites entre la imaginación y el engaño. La jugabilidad de la instalación y la participación activa envuelven al espectador en el misterio y permiten que se activen, a través de los detalles, las facultades que trabajan por el descubrimiento de la verdad y la autodefensa de la manipulación. Los artistas apelan a la intuición del público y a su capacidad crítica para adentrarse en este enigma imaginario que hibrida una misma historia transatlántica.

The installation Have you seen this artist? it is an installed thriller. Isabel Merchante, a Spanish artist, shows evidence requested from Bogotá with the intention of clarifying the mystery of the disappearance of Colombian artist Diego Sánchez on December 1, 2020. In Colombia, the process is identical: there the artist from Bogotá processes the information received from Spain in order to clarify the disappearance of Isabel Merchante the same day. The scenography, of cinematographic inspiration, is the basis of this mockumentary work that narrates a paradoxical double event and that explores the limits between imagination and lie. The gameplay of the installation and active participation envolve the viewer in a mystery and allow them to activate, through the evidences, it's own faculties that work for the discovery of the truth and the self-defense of manipulation. The artists appeal to the public's intuition and their critical capacity to delve into this imaginary enigma that hybridizes the same transatlantic story.
